• Ventilation fixed in an attic if the mold is in the attic

• Clean up of the mold

Here is how to spot a fraudster before you get taken:

• Their equipment is a garden sprayer

• Price is too good to be true

• Is not aware that an attic should not be overly saturated as it will have trouble drying and will ruin your ceilings

• Estimate does not address fixing the moisture problem

• There is no concern for any mold under the insulation

• Estimate does not address the ventilation problem in the attic

• Requires all or most of the money up front

• No website or a lot of negative reviews

• Uses an opaque liquid to cover the mold or wants to paint

• Has no awareness of moisture on mold
